Schedule / Job Type

• Travel contract, Nights (3x12-hour shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide palliative care focused on alleviating symptoms and improving quality of life for patients with serious illnesses.
• Manage symptoms such as pain, nausea, fatigue, and other discomforts for both end-of-life and active treatment patients.
• Float to inpatient units of equivalent or lower acuity levels as needed during training prior to the new unit opening on 7/1.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols, including completing required fingerprinting and credentialing processes promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Ohio or a compact state at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Ability to float within units of similar or lower acuity.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Experience with palliative or hospice care.
• Flexibility working night shifts and participating in rotating schedules.
