- Full-time, Day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Operate fluoroscopic imaging equipment during cardiac and peripheral vascular procedures under physician supervision
- Provide scrub assistance to cardiologists throughout diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Ensure patient safety and comfort, recognizing conditions necessary for successful procedures
- Assist with equipment setup, sterile techniques, and patient positioning
- Document procedural events and patient information accurately in hemodynamic recording systems
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiological Technologists
- State of Ohio license to operate ionizing radiation or employ radionuclides
- Registered as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) (R) ARRT
- BLS and ACLS certification (ACLS must be obtained within one year of orientation if not already held)
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a cath/lab or similar invasive procedure setting
- Ability to operate lab equipment, catheters, guide wires, and demonstrate clinical skills necessary for invasive procedures
- Knowledge of cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, EKG interpretation, and radiation safety practices
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work effectively with medical teams and patients
- Ability to lift and position patients and utilize computer systems for record management
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EP procedures and EPIC electronic medical records system
- Recent experience working in a Level 1 trauma hospital setting
- Prior travel experience in a cath lab environment
