- Full-time, travel, night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 12-hour shifts, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, primarily during high-risk labor, cesarean sections, and postpartum care
- Monitor and support patients through procedures such as inductions, inductions, AROM, IUPC, DFM, and Doppler assessments
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes in a fast-paced hospital setting
- Utilize advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, telemetry monitors, and EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN gold
- Adhere to hospital policies and guidelines, including oxytocin and unit-specific policies
- Support a team nursing approach, providing mentorship and assistance to colleagues as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of labor and delivery nursing experience
- Experience circulating in cesarean sections
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7 PM – 7 AM)
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- More than 2 years of labor and delivery experience
- High-risk labor, delivery, and postpartum experience
- Previous experience with LDR and obstetric procedures
