• Full-time, Days shift, 8 hours per shift, 5 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and administer therapeutic treatments to residents and patients with disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Deliver treatments in accordance with established care plans under supervision.
• Record treatments provided and document patient progress accurately in medical records.
• Provide clinical support and education to patients, families, and caregivers.
• Monitor and respond to patient reactions to treatments, adjusting as necessary.
• Complete all required documentation following company policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program (Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education).
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs, administered by the Federation of State Boards of Physical Therapy (FSBPT).
• Strong understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy and patience when working with patients.
• Physical stamina to assist patients with movement and exercises.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a clinical or long-term care setting is a plus.
• Experience with patient education and caregiver support.
