- Full-time, Days shifts, 12.5 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide acute, compassionate nursing care to ER patients in a high-volume trauma and stroke center
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure timely patient assessment, treatment, and documentation
- Monitor patient conditions using GE monitors and Baxter pumps; perform procedures as required
- Maintain patient safety and comfort through respectful, quality communication following AIDET guidelines
- Document patient care accurately within the Cerner system and update boards throughout visits
- Support unit functions, including triage, internal processing, and unit clerical tasks
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license and active certification in BLS and ACLS before start date
- 2+ years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in an ER setting
- Experience in Level 2 trauma or comprehensive stroke centers preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a teamwork focus
- Flexibility to float within all sections of the Emergency Department
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in high-volume emergency departments with over 100,000 visits annually
- Familiarity with GE monitors and Baxter pumps
- Experience in hospitals with diverse, multicultural patient populations

Additional Information
- Orientation: 4 hours hospital orientation followed by an 8-hour shift on the floor
- Dress code: Navy scrubs for RNs; other designated colors for support staff
- Unit policies, including attendance and recognition programs, will be provided on day one
Note: This is a travel RN position with a 10-week duration, starting April 20, 2026.
