Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to IMC, PCU, and stepdown patients in a hospital setting.
- Conduct bedside shift reports and assist providers with bedside procedures such as chest tube insertions and intubations.
- Monitor and manage ventilators, hemodynamic parameters, and IV medications including vasopressors and sedatives.
- Perform nurse leader rounding and support patient experience initiatives.
- Adhere to unit policies, documentation standards, and safety protocols.
- Be flexible with floating to different units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Compact or State Nursing License.
- Minimum of 2+ years of critical care experience, specifically in a large hospital ICU setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and critical care pharmacology.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and support every other weekend and holiday schedule.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in hemodynamic monitoring and advanced critical care procedures.
- Comfortable with targeting Temperature Management (TTM) and use of advanced ventilators and IV pumps.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to work well within a team.

- The unit features a 10-bed IMC/PCU with specific patient ratios (2:1 for ICU, 4-5:1 for PCU).
- Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday support; relief charge nurse is available.
- Uniforms required: Navy Blue or White scrubs.
