- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care according to AWHONN standards, including managing patient ratios of 1:1 for labor and 1:6 for postpartum patients.
- Float between units as needed based on facility requirements and your skill set.
- Perform assessments, monitor fetal and maternal well-being, and respond to emergencies promptly.
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic charting system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.
- Attend scheduled on-call shifts as required, with flexibility for holiday work.
Required Qualifications
- Active OR nursing license (pending licensing acceptable)
- Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery (LDRP) nursing experience; 2 years preferred
- Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- Successfully completed Epic charting system training or experience
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level III Trauma Center or critical access hospital
- Experience with float nursing across various units and facilities
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
