Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide labor and delivery nursing care according to AWHONN standards, including managing patient ratios of 1:1 for labor and 1:6 for postpartum patients.
• Float between units as needed based on facility requirements and your skill set.
• Perform assessments, monitor fetal and maternal well-being, and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety.
• Attend scheduled on-call shifts as required, with flexibility for holiday work.

Required Qualifications

• Active OR nursing license (pending licensing acceptable)
• Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery (LDRP) nursing experience; 2 years preferred
• Certification in NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• Successfully completed Epic charting system training or experience
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level III Trauma Center or critical access hospital
• Experience with float nursing across various units and facilities
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
