Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, and titration of drips.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient status using telemetry and respond promptly to changes.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Participate in team conferences and collaborate with physicians and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois Registered Nurse license or confirmation that application has been initiated.
• BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and NIH preferred.
• Experience caring for ICU patients, including ventilated patients and those on titrated drips.
• Ability to care for patients with conditions such as STEMI, COPD, CHF, Sepsis, COVID-19, and Flu.
• Knowledge of ICU equipment and procedures, including vent management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac and pulmonary rehab.
• Familiarity with telemonitoring and complex patient care.
• Previous ICU experience in a high-acuity setting.
