Registered Nurse - LTC/SNF
Location: Crisfield, MD
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, full-time
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide intermediate and long-term nursing care to patients affected by illnesses, injuries, or conditions requiring rehabilitation services.
- Perform skills such as IV therapy, administration of IV antibiotics, wound care, and medication administration.
- Collaborate with a patient's medical team to coordinate and implement individualized care plans.
- Offer emotional support, guidance, and comfort to patients and their families.
- Follow departmental policies regarding shift scheduling, including working weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime.
Required Qualifications:
- License and current registration as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
