Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Days, 3 shifts per week (12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including post-surgical and overflow cases
• Transition to team nursing model with a ratio of 1:6/7
• Support unit operations and patient management during shifts
• Adhere to all safety and clinical protocols, including on-call responsibilities as needed
• Work effectively within a fast-paced hospital environment, ensuring quality patient care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• Valid RN license in Tennessee or a compact license accepted in the state
• Recent travel nursing experience preferred (minimum 1 completed travel assignment)
• Cerner EMR experience is a plus
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts and meet facility requirements for holiday coverage

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in units with overflow, post-surgical, or observation care
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work weekend or holiday shifts as needed
