Job Title

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality patient care in a multi-specialty medical surgical/telemetry unit.
• Assist patients with recovery following orthopedic, general surgical, and medical needs including dialysis and telemetry monitoring.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to support patient mobility, pain management, and complication prevention.
• Float to other units and hospitals as needed to ensure consistent coverage and patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR and adhere to hospital policies.
• Support a team-oriented environment focused on patient-centered outcomes.

Required Qualifications
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Valid registered nurse license for the state of Alabama or a Compact license.
• Current BLS certification through AHA.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a medical-surgical or telemetry setting.
• At least 18 months of licensed professional experience will be considered.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to diverse patient care environments.
• Strong focus on patient safety, pain management, and early recovery support.
