• Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (19:00–07:30), temporary assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality ICU nursing care during overnight shifts.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ensuring precise identification of critical rhythms.
• Float within various hospital units as needed, adhering to skill set and hospital discretion.
• Complete required certifications and clinical modules prior to orientation.
• Maintain compliance with travel and licensing requirements, including state licensing, certifications, and immunization standards.
• Pass hospital-proctored rhythm identification tests with a score of 80% or higher.

Required Qualifications

• NY state nursing license in hand.
• Minimum of 3 years of current ICU experience.
• Ability to read cardiac rhythms accurately.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• NIH certification required.
• Must pass hospital rhythm identification and EKG exams with specified scores.
• Recent Nursys verification.
• Ability to demonstrate proficiency in Epic charting system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel or floating experience within hospital settings.
• Experience with Relias EKG modules and hospital-specific training modules.
• Knowledge of hospital protocols for infection control, including flu vaccination or approved exemption.

Restrictions / Additional Details
