Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for pediatric patients in a clinical setting following established standards and practices.
- Act as the primary liaison between patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
- Take vital signs, triage patient calls, refill prescriptions, and complete necessary prior authorizations.
- Support team members, including guiding CNAs and schedulers, under the direction of providers, coordinators, and clinical supervisors.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved nursing program.
- Current State LPN license.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from an accredited institution.
- Ability to follow current standards for continuing education as required by state and federal licensure.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in pediatric healthcare environments.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a team.
