Full-time, overnight shifts (12-hour nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units.
• Manage complex clinical situations, including CRRT, Bipaps, drawing labs, Chest Tubes, PICC lines, and administering various treatments.
• Conduct own codes and respond to emergency situations, with the capability to float across ICU, Med/Surg, Med/Tele, and ED units.
• Follow established protocols and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
• Attend initial orientation and ongoing training, including Epic electronic medical record system proficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Kansas RN license or Compact RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, and NIH certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in Critical Care or Intensive Care Nursing, with experience handling CRRT, Bipaps, labs, Chest Tubes, PICC, and emergency response.
• Ability to float across multiple inpatient units as needed.
• Comfort with conducting codes and handling complex patient needs.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Experience working with Epic electronic health record system.
• Flexibility to work every other weekend and holiday shifts as required.
