Job Title

• Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist

• Kansas City, KS

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Days, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Siemens imaging systems (Artis Icono, Artis Q, Artis Zee) for interventional radiology procedures
• Assist in various IR procedures including neurovascular and peripheral cases
• Manage high patient volumes within a fast-paced hospital environment
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
• Collaborate with the medical team to facilitate efficient case flow and quality care
• Handle cases across multiple hospital departments, including outpatient services

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of IR and scrub experience
• ARRT Radiography certification
• Kansas State Board of Healing Arts license (must be in hand for submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3 or more years of IR experience, especially in large hospital settings
• Experience with neurovascular and peripheral procedures
• Familiarity with neuro overflow cases and thyroid biopsies

Additional Details

• No weekend or holiday requirements; holidays will result in adjusted pay if falling on scheduled workdays
• Orientation provided every Monday and Tuesday, plus bi-weekly nursing orientation from Wednesday to Friday
• Cancellations allowed with a minimum 2-hour notice, up to twice per month
• Equipment used: Siemens Artis systems with single-plane capabilities
• Facility is nicotine-free and emphasizes a safe, high-quality patient care environment
