Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive telemetry nursing care to cardiac unit patients.
- Monitor and respond to patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
- Administer cardiac drips such as Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and manage Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
- Assist with procedures involving TR Bands and ensure patient safety during cardiac procedures.
- Float to all acute care units as needed, maintaining flexibility across different departments.
Required Qualifications
- KS RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience.
- Experience with TR Bands post-procedure.
- Familiarity with cardiac drips (Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem) and Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation.
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and adapt to floating requirements.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2–5 years of telemetry nursing experience.
- Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical record system.
- Knowledge of acute care protocols and procedures.
