Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units
- Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions
- Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records
- Respond swiftly to patient emergencies and provide critical care when needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a stepdown, IMC, or PCU setting
- Must be flexible and able to work a busy, fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience
- Knowledge of procedural post-EP lab and post-cath lab care
- Experience with telemetry equipment and patient monitoring systems
- Calm and adaptable demeanor
