Tech Echo/Ultrasound/Sonographer

Job Title

• Ultrasound/Vascular Sonographer (Travel Position)

• Houston, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, Night shifts (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound and vascular procedures including abdominal, OB/GYN (all trimesters), renal, small parts, and pediatric exams
• Conduct OB assessments such as BPPs and ultrasounds across all pregnancy stages
• Utilize GE Logiq E9 and Philips iU22 ultrasound equipment
• Document findings accurately within the Meditech EMR and McKesson PACS systems
• Ensure thorough data collection and adherence to unit protocols during each shift
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team in a fast-paced hospital environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid ARDMS certification in Abdomen or Obstetrics/Gynecology
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) credential
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a team setting
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (no declinations accepted)
• Proficiency with GE ultrasound equipment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with OB ultrasound, including all trimesters and BPPs
• Prior working knowledge of GE Logiq E9 and Philips iU22 systems
• Strong interpersonal skills and motivation to deliver quality patient care
