Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment, Night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care to adult and pediatric trauma, stroke, STEMI, and high-acuity patients in an emergency department setting.
• Administer medications and treatments, monitor patient responses, and document care accurately.
• Assess patient needs, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes utilizing nursing best practices.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and health management.
• Manage complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or a compact state.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (American Heart Association required).
• At least 1 year of experience in emergency or high-acuity nursing preferred.
• Successful completion of organizational onboarding, competency, and emergency department-specific training.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in trauma, stroke, STEMI, or regional advanced cardiac hospitals.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations calmly.
