- Full-time, night shifts (3x12 hours per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care to neonatal and pediatric patients in a hospital setting, including NICU and PICU units.
- Manage ventilators, administer treatments, and monitor patient responses.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond to emergency situations during night shifts, including calls from the unit.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Ensure adherence to all safety, licensing, and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- South Carolina CRT or RRT license.
- Current BLS, PALS, and NRP certifications.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a children’s hospital NICU and PICU.
- Significant NICU and PICU experience required; neonatal/children’s specialty experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of EMR experience with EPIC system.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with neonatal and pediatric populations in a hospital setting.
- Ability to float between units as needed, demonstrating competencies.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
