Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive nursing care plans tailored to patients’ age-specific needs, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Perform thorough head-to-toe assessments on patients and reassess regularly per policy, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess patients’ physiological, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual needs; develop and modify individualized care plans accordingly.
- Administer medications accurately, following the five medication rights, and evaluate patient responses to treatments.
- Educate patients and families on pain management, health conditions, and post-discharge care, ensuring understanding and engagement in the care process.
- Document all patient care activities accurately and communicate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless, patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license.
- Graduation from an accredited RN program.
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Ability to perform technical Procedures and manual skills, including IV initiation and medication administration.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Experience with adult and pediatric patient care in a clinical setting.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
