Job Title

• Respiratory Therapist (RT) – Night Shift

Location

• Walla Walla, WA

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary contract, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments and interventions to patients across all age groups.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care.
• Document clinical notes accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Float between units as needed, providing support in various hospital departments.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and applicable certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington State Respiratory Therapist license in hand.
• BLS certification required; PALS and ACLS certifications required.
• NRP certification preferred.
• Must be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
• Ability to float within the facility and adapt to various unit needs.
• Recent respiratory therapy experience in a hospital setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a Level III Trauma Center or acute care hospital.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical record system.
