Key Responsibilities

• Provide advanced cardiac surgical care in a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) setting.
• Perform or assist with complex procedures including CABG, valve repairs/replacements, TAVR, aortic arch and root replacements, ECMO, Impella insertions, thoracotomies, thoracoscopies, mediastinoscopies, and related chest surgeries.
• Work effectively with a team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Call every third weekend and 1-2 nights per week as part of the shift schedule.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and documentation requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR nursing experience.
• Current RN license in hand or compact license.
• BLS, ACLS certifications required.
• Competent with skills including CABG, valve surgeries, TAVR, circulatory arrest, ECMO, Impella, open thoracotomies, laparoscopic and mediastinoscopies.
• Ability to work day shifts and respond to call requirements.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Ability to float between units within the facility.
• References from previous employers (2 required).
• Willingness to follow strict lab scheduling and compliance policies.
