Key Responsibilities
• Provide skilled support in a Cath Lab environment performing interventional procedures on cardiac and peripheral vascular cases.
• Assist with procedures such as heart catheterizations, angiograms, atherectomies, thrombectomies, and device insertions (Impella, balloon pump).
• Operate and support GE Innova fluoroscopy and monitor capabilities such as GE Maclab/Cardiolab systems.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during high-paced, competitive clinical procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team including RNs and other tech staff.
• Follow all unit policies and ensure minimal response times for on-call duties.
Required Qualifications
• Prior experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or related interventional radiology setting.
• Proven skills with procedures like Left/Right Heart Catheterizations and Peripheral Angiograms.
• Ability to operate advanced imaging and monitoring equipment (e.g., GE Innova, IVUS/DFR).
• Must be within 30 minutes of the facility for on-call response.
• Current credentials in cardiac or vascular specialties as applicable.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
• Knowledge of GE Maclab and Cardiolab systems.
• Previous work with Impella, balloon pump, and thrombectomy procedures.
• Strong team player with a fast-paced work mentality.
