• Travel, Nights, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care to medical and surgical patients in a multi-specialty, acute care setting.
• Float and cover various units and hospitals as needed, ensuring flexibility to meet staffing needs.
• Administer medications, monitor patient condition via telemetry, and support recovery with emphasis on pain management and mobility.
• Collaborate with team members to deliver safe and effective care, focusing on patient comfort and complication prevention.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and compassionate environment for patients and their families.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the State of Alabama or a valid Compact license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in the specialty area of telemetry or medical-surgical nursing.
• Valid NURSYS license verification.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting with a focus on telemetry and medical-surgical care.
• Ability to float between units and adapt quickly to different clinical environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
