Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, night shift, 12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), rotating weekly schedule (Thursday to Wednesday), alternating 36/48-hour work weeks
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
- Monitor and assess residents’ health status, document symptoms, and update care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Communicate effectively with residents and their families
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Kansas
- Additional certifications as required by facility standards (e.g., CPR, BLS)
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in LTC or SNF environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working night shifts in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
