• Day shifts, 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
• 13-week ongoing contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to post-operative cardiac surgery patients in a 16-bed CVICU setting
• Monitor and manage patients with advanced cardiac devices such as ECMO, Centrimags, and LVADS
• Perform complex procedures including central line insertions, Swan-Ganz catheter placements, and intubations
• Utilize Phillips bedside telemetry monitors, Hill-Rom beds, and Alaris IV pumps for patient care
• Document patient information accurately within Meditech system
• Collaborate with a high-volume surgical team and an intensivist-led team for optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with current state licensure
• BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Minimum of 2 years of critical care experience, including CVICU background
• Proficiency with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT therapies
• Skilled in post-operative cardiac care and device management
• Ability to handle high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment

This role is fully compliant with all hospital policies and dress code (black, red, or galaxy blue scrubs with scrub jackets/vests). Candidates should be prepared to float to other ICU units as needed.
