Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced respiratory therapy care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital critical care setting
- Operate and monitor various ventilators and respiratory equipment, including GE R860 vents, Draeger infant/Peds vents, and high-flow oxygen devices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document treatments and patient responses in electronic medical records (Cerner system)
- Adhere to hospital policies and safety standards, including proper equipment use and infection control protocols
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
- Previous experience in a hospital ICU or critical care unit
- Familiarity with pediatric and adult ventilator management
