• Registered Nurse - Telemetry

Location
• Olathe, KS

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shift

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized nursing care for patients in the telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac monitoring and related procedures.
• Manage cardiac drips, including Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem, and initiate Tikosyn/Sotalol therapy as needed.
• Perform post-procedure care, including use of TR Bands and other patient management tasks.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with clinical protocols during 12-hour night shifts.
• Float to various acute care units as required, demonstrating flexibility across hospital departments.
• Adhere to all facility policies, including holiday work requirements and minimal time off during specific periods.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Kansas RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year recent telemetry experience, with knowledge of cardiac drips and post-procedure care

Preferred Experience / Skills
• 2-5 years of telemetry experience preferred
• Experience with Epic EMR system and cardiac therapy initiation processes
• Ability to work nights consistently and adapt to hospital protocols for holiday and weekend rotations
