Full-time, 36-hour weekly night shifts (7 p.m. – 7 a.m.), working 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a Level 2 or Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
• Monitor and support critically ill newborns, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments and treatments.
• Adhere to hospital protocols and state regulations to ensure high-quality care.
• Assist in emergency situations and provide family education when needed.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a Level 3 NICU or 3+ years in a Level 2 NICU.
• Active and clear Connecticut RN license (or valid compact license).
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
• Proficiency with Meditech and Epic EHR systems (Epic conversion expected June 2026).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with Epic electronic health record system.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
