Registered Nurse IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Stepdown/PCU/IMC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week, days

Key Responsibilities

• Provide highly skilled nursing care to patients in the Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit or IMC.
• Monitor patient conditions, including ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care accurately in accordance with hospital policies.
• Respond to patient emergencies and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty applying for prior to travel.
• Ohio license or Compact state license (effective from 01/01/2023) in good standing.
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments with acceptable scores.
• Willingness to work at least every other holiday.
• Must pass a drug screen (Nicotine/10 Panel), BCI/FBI background check within 48 hours of signing contract, and completion of onboarding modules.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel experience in a similar stepdown or PCU setting.
• PCU or Progressive Care experience preferred but not required.
• Experience with ECG interpretation and medication safety protocols.
