Registered Nurse Medical Surgical/Tele

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Telemetry (Tele)

• Greensboro, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour rotations, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients, including observation and management of respiratory, diabetic, surgical, psychiatric, and end-of-life patients.
• Monitor and document patient conditions, administer medications, and execute care plans in accordance with hospital protocols.
• Perform and pass required EKG assessments, document care in EPIC electronic health records, and adhere to compliance standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including float to various facilities as needed, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintain compliance with all licensing, education, and background check requirements prior to assignment start.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or proper state licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical-surgical and telemetry units.
• BLS certification.
• Ability to pass an EKG exam (2 attempts allowed).
• EPIC electronic health record experience.
• Valid driver’s license with current address verification (local radius 50 miles).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with EPIC platform and complex patient care, including psychiatric, diabetic, surgical, or hospice patients.
• First-time travel nurses accepted.
