Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical nursing services within the outpatient outpatient clinic, supporting providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Assist in clinic operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining supplies, and ensuring a safe and clean environment.
- Perform assessments, specimen collection, and medication inventory management, ensuring all procedures adhere to standards.
- Accurately document all care and services provided, maintaining compliance with policies and protocols.
- Support patient education, infection control, and safety procedures, participating in ongoing training and competency assessments.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to meet patient needs and optimize clinic efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Alaska or another U.S. state
- Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Clinical competency within 3 months of hire, with ongoing reassessment every three years
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred
- Experience in addiction services or substance abuse treatment preferred
- Knowledge of nursing processes, safety, infection control principles, and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
