Registered Nurse - IR/Special Procedures
Location: Peoria, IL
Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Days shifts, 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology and special procedures in a hospital setting.
• Assist with procedures including GI bleed management, strokes, biopsies, central lines, drains, and vascular interventions.
• Interpret EKGs and manage drip titrations as required by RN.
• Collaborate with charge RNs and other team members to ensure patient safety and quality care during procedures.
• Utilize electronic medical records system (EPIC) and Phillips monitors effectively.
• Cover shifts as part of primary and secondary call requirements, including weekends and holidays, with a 30-minute response time.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Illinois RN license or confirmation that the application process has been initiated.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Experience interpreting EKGs and managing drip titrations.
• Knowledge of EPIC EMR system and Phillips monitors.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior experience in interventional radiology, ED, ICU, or procedural units.
• Ability to handle 1:1 intraprocedural patient ratios and up to 1:4 in phase 2 recovery.
• Strong understanding of common diagnoses such as GI bleed, strokes, and vascular issues.
