• Full-time | Day shifts | 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care to adult patients in a busy medical-surgical unit
• Perform patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs
• Utilize telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills, including remote telemetry
• Assist with pre/post-hemodialysis management and renal failure cases
• Manage IV therapy procedures such as blood product administration and PICC line care
• Respond to emergency situations using rapid response protocols and emergency response skills
Required Qualifications
• Active Illinois registered nurse license
• Minimum of 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Strong knowledge of infection control, wound care, and isolation precautions
• Cerner charting system experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with urinary/renal cases including Hemodialysis
• Proficiency with Chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, and non-invasive airway management
• Experience working in a Level I trauma center or acute care hospital

Additional Details
• Shifts: 12-hour days, 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• 3 shifts per week, with every other weekend required
• Candidates must have an Illinois license in hand prior to start and be able to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Float within scope to other medical-surgical units as needed
• RTO requests of up to 5 days are considered; additional requests require approval
• Pending license approval, no local or radius restrictions
• Travel compliance and modules must be completed on time, with a virtual orientation at start
