• Full-time, Night shift, 3x12 hours

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care primarily in Medical Surgical and Telemetry units during night shifts.
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond to patient needs accordingly.
• Observe and document patient progress, including respiratory, diabetic, surgical, psychiatric, and hospice care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes and compliance with protocols.
• Complete EKG exams during onboarding and pass required assessments to maintain compliance.
• Float across all Cone Health facilities as needed, supporting various patient populations.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a registered nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health records.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding.
• Must have current and valid driver’s license.
• Education verification and background check clearance.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse experience preferred.
• Experience with medical-surgical, telemetry, respiratory, and diabetic patient care.
• Familiarity with hospital compliance requirements and float staff procedures.
