Tech MLT/Medical Technologist/Clinical Lab Scientist

Job Title

• Medical Laboratory Technologist / Clinical Lab Scientist (MLS/CLS)

• Laurinburg, NC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3x12 days, day shift, weekdays and weekends

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing and analysis following established protocols.
• Ensure accuracy and quality control of laboratory results.
• Float within hospital departments as needed.
• Maintain compliance with travel and certification requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation including licenses and references.
• Support laboratory operations during assigned shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

Required Qualifications

• MLS/CLS or MLT certification (AMT or ASCP required).
• Valid state or compact license at time of submission.
• Phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant laboratory experience.
• Copy of recent (within 7 days) certification or license.
• Professional references from supervisory roles within the past two years.
• COVID vaccination card required at submission (exemptions with proper documentation).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system.
• Backgrounds with minor infractions considered.
• Local candidates within 50 miles are accepted at a lower rate.
• Experience with hospital floating procedures.
