Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room (Contract, 13 Weeks)

• El Paso, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract (Travel), Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients during night shifts.
• Administer treatments, monitor vital signs, and perform procedures such as IV insertions, EKGs, lumbar punctures, and central lines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient management.
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Adhere to unit protocols and maintain a safe, efficient environment for patients and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license
• BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC certifications
• Experience with IV insertions, EKGs, and acute care procedures
• Ability to work night shifts and weekends as required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certification in NRP and STABLE
• Experience working in a fast-paced emergency department
• Knowledge of Level 3 EMR systems
• Positive, team-oriented personality, energetic, and willing to learn
