Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room environment for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons and other healthcare professionals during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any intraoperative changes promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately using the hospital’s documentation system.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operative procedures.
• Follow all hospital policies and safety standards, including compliance with certification requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
• BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of perioperative nursing experience.
• Strong knowledge of operating room procedures and safety protocols.
• Ability to work a 12-hour day shift schedule.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience assisting with procedures such as hearts, trauma, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, GYN, and robotics (DaVinci and Mako).
• Experience in a Level I trauma center.
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system.
