Full-time, 3x12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit at a major hospital
• Monitor patient vital signs, interpret ECG rhythms, and respond to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments following physician orders and hospital protocols
• Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Comply with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
• Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in the specialty prior to travel assignment
• Valid Ohio RN license or current Compact State license in hand
• Active American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Flexibility to work at least every other holiday
• Must pass drug screening and background checks (BCI/FBI prints within 48 hours of signing)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting with telemetry monitoring
• Experience working with adult patient populations
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
