Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights (3x12 Hour Shifts per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside nursing care to a diverse patient population in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress in electronic health records.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and assist with procedures as required.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Complete required assessments and documentation in compliance with hospital policies.
• Float to various Cone Health facilities if needed, adapting to different clinical environments.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or appropriate state license.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent medical-surgical and telemetry nursing experience.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding.
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience in observing patients with respiratory, diabetic, surgical, or palliative needs.
• Familiarity with working in a fast-paced hospital environment with a diverse patient population.
