Job Title
• Registered Nurse - CVOR

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, contract, on-site, evening shifts (5x8 or 2x8 and 2x12 shifts)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide specialized cardiovascular, vascular, thoracic, and transplant patient care in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Support perioperative services, including general OR, CVOR, and transplant procedures.
• Participate in in-house weekend rotations and be available for call duties on weekdays and weekends.
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC or similar charting systems.
• Adhere to strict compliance and credentialing requirements, including Ohio fingerprinting process.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes during surgeries.

Required Qualifications
• Valid Ohio or compact state nursing license.
• At least 2 years’ experience in cardiac, vascular, or transplant nursing.
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience.
• 1 year of clinical experience in a Level I Trauma facility.
• Certifications: BLS, NIH.
• Proficiency in EPIC charting system.
• Skills in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant nursing.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with surgical call duties and weekend coverage.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and extended hours.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
