Registered Nurse Emergency Room

Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Department (Nights)

• Santa Fe, NM

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Temporary Travel Assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients across all age groups.
• Coordinate and implement patient assessments, treatments, and interventions as per department standards.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort while maintaining compliance with hospital and regulatory policies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to facilitate optimal care.
• Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license in New Mexico or a Compact state license.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from AHA.
• PALS or ENPC certification required; TNCC or ATCN preferred.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and perform physical duties required for patient care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior emergency room nursing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma and critical care procedures.
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to scheduling changes.
