Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Nights shift, 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency care to diverse patient populations.
• Respond promptly to urgent and emergent situations, including RSI, stroke protocols, and sepsis interventions.
• Perform procedures such as central line placement and care of psychiatric patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transfers and care.
• Maintain accurate documentation using electronic medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and safety guidelines.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
• 2-3 years of ER experience.
• Completed 2-3 travel assignments preferred.
• Experience with high-volume, fast-paced emergency departments.
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 4-6:1.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in high-acuity ERs with patient ratios of 5:1.
• Familiarity with stroke protocols, TPA administration, and EMTALA transfers.
• Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically Meditech.
• Friendly, team-oriented personality fitting a relaxed and respectful work environment.
