• Full-time, travel assignment, day shift, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a hospital ER setting, following hospital protocols and procedures.
• Perform advanced procedures including RSI, sepsis interventions, stroke protocol with tPA administration, and central line placement.
• Monitor and care for patients with high acuity needs, including mental health patients and transfers under EMTALA guidelines.
• Collaborate with medical team members to ensure efficient patient flow and quality care.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR system (Meditech).
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during fast-paced emergency scenarios.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications.
• 2-3 years of ER experience, with prior travel experience in similar settings.
• Ability to handle high-volume, high-acuity environments with patient ratios of 4-6:1.
• Experience with procedures such as RSI, stroke protocols, and central line placement.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in high acuity, fast-paced ER settings.
• Experience managing patient ratios of 5:1.
• Comfortable working with diverse patient populations, including psychiatric transfers.
• Strong team-oriented, friendly, and easygoing personality suited for collaborative environments.
