Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room, supporting a variety of surgical service lines including general, GYN, robotics, neuro, orthopedics, plastic surgery, urology, burn, and trauma.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient, and quality patient care before, during, and after procedures.
• Monitor patient status and respond to intraoperative needs, maintaining high standards of safety and patient satisfaction.
• Document all patient care activities accurately and in accordance with hospital policies using Cerner documentation systems.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including dress code guidelines, and coordinate with other departments as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• Minimum of 2+ years of recent RN experience in an Operating Room setting.
• Demonstrated surgical knowledge across multiple service lines, including neuro, ortho, robotics, and trauma.
• Ability to work variable procedures and adapt to changing unit needs.
• Must be able to work day shifts and available for a 13-week travel assignment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with high-acuity surgical procedures and complex case management.
• Knowledge of Cerner documentation systems.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to float to other departments as needed.
