Therapist Social Worker

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract, 8 weeks, Day shifts, 4x10 hours shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care, discharge planning, and care coordination within a hospital setting.
• Float across all hospital units, including sister campuses, as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Document appropriately in EPIC electronic health record system.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced trauma center environment.
• Cover holidays, with a requirement to work at least 3 of 5 designated holidays.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Washington state RN license or active/MSW license.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, including discharge planning or care coordination.
• Current BLS certification.
• Experience with EPIC charting system.
• Ability to float across units and campuses as needed.
• Pending licenses accepted with approval.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Diverse case management experience across Med Surg, LLOS, EDC.
• Strong discharge planning and care coordination background.
• Previous hospital or trauma center experience preferred.
