Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, primarily X-rays, for patients within the hospital setting.
- Float within hospital units as needed, providing flexibility in coverage.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and documentation requirements during imaging procedures.
- Complete required certifications and compliance measures, including drug screens and background checks.
- Work scheduled shifts of 10 hours, typically during day shifts but with the possibility of evening shifts approximately every 4th week.
- Follow facility policies for clock-in/out procedures and coordinate with supervisory team for reporting and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Valid PA State License or Compact Radiologic Technologist License.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent radiology experience in a hospital setting.
- COVID vaccination and booster shot completion.
- Ability to obtain fingerprinting and drug screening results within designated timeframes.
- Completion of required certifications as specified for radiology technicians.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in hospital imaging departments with diverse patient populations.
- Comfort with floating across different hospital units as needed.
- Familiarity with hospital policies for compliance and safety procedures.
