Job Title

• Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry, Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shift, 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shifts
• Monitor patient vital signs and assess patient conditions to ensure safety and well-being
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and facility protocol
• Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records
• Collaborate with healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience prior to travel
• Valid Ohio RN license or a Compact State license in hand at the time of submission
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications
• Ability to recognize ECG rhythms and pass related assessments during orientation
• Compliance with travel and facility-specific credentialing requirements (e.g., background checks, drug screens)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting within the Cleveland Clinic network or similar healthcare systems
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high acuity environment

Additional Notes

All certifications must be active, with no pending items. Orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate tests must be passed with a maximum of two attempts.

Candidates must complete background checks and fingerprinting promptly. Badge pick-up and onsite fingerprinting are required prior to start. Travelers are not permitted to have license hits or open cases. Nicotine-free status is mandated for all travelers except nurses and CSTs, due to temporary exemptions.
