Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in a 28-bed PCU/IMCU focusing on cardiac patient populations.
• Manage patients with conditions such as STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiogenic shock, and chest pain, including administration of cardiac drips like Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors.
• Monitor patient vitals and responses, ensuring timely interventions for higher-acuity cardiac patients.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document all patient care activities and update medical records accurately.
• Assist in telemetry beds with lower acuity levels as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience in a similar-sized hospital (28 beds) with documented PCU/IMCU experience.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience with cardiac protocols, including management of cardiac drips.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working with cardiac emergency care such as STEMI, NSTEMI, and related interventions.
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and high-acuity patient management.
